Veterinary Ophthalmic Referrals founder and South Australia’s most experienced Veterinary Eye Specialist Tony Read, is maintaining a strong commitment to Adelaide despite spending a little more time at his northern retreat in Cairns.  Joined by fellow registered specialist Zoe Anastassiadis and final year resident Alex Verloop, VOR continues to provide specialist experience, expertise and depth for referred eye cases. 

The VOR team remains Adelaide’s only Specialist Veterinary Ophthalmology service with all clinicians either specialists or training as specialists. When clients are referred they typically assume they are going to a complete specialist service such as VOR. This is how we differ from ‘special interest’ or ‘advanced non-specialist practitioner’ referral services which do not offer the same range of clinical options.
