‘B’ is the resident clinic cat at VOR. At 8 weeks old ‘B’ was a part of a kitten adoption programme at a general practice veterinary clinic. Concerned about his eye sight they brought him in to see Dr Tony Read, who diagnosed congenital cataracts.

Although ‘B’ was born with poor vision, while his eyes have grown his cataracts have stayed the same size, allowing his level of eye sight to improve to the point where there is not much he misses. ‘B’ is now fully grown and has the run of the clinic and his very own personal jungle (the back yard).

Why the name ‘B’?, well what else do you call a Black cat that was Born Blind, Buzzes around the clinic and likes Being a Bit of a Bad Boy from time to time.
